In 2012, Agrics started with a mere 1,000 smallholder clients in Western Kenya and has since grown to over 35,000 in 2016. The company is projecting a total turnover of EUR 3.0 million in Western Kenya and Northern Tanzania for 2017. Recently, Agrics has attracted financing from impact investors like Common Fund for Commodities (CFC) and Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF, part of AGRA) to support further growth towards 100,000 farmers in 2021. Agrics plans to expand into Uganda in 2018.
